My story

In the year 94 realistic drawing literally changed my life!

I didn't know it, but when I saw a pencil portrait for the first time, my life would never be the same again. This was the first turning point in my history with drawing.

And that's not an exaggeration, as it's approaching 3 decades that I've dedicated myself entirely to art, drawing, teaching and learning every day.

Experience with students has shown me over the years that drawing, in fact, is not a gift, but rather a long path of learning and building skills.

After 5 years drawing in the streets and squares of Campinas - SP, in 2003 I decided to start teaching realistic drawing. And here was the second turning point!

Sharing what I had learned so far showed me an immense horizon to be explored in the art of drawing, because during this period I have met incredible people, witnessed overcoming challenges and heard stories that strengthen my relationship with art on a daily basis.

In 2015 I decided to take what I had been learning to the virtual world, an online Realistic Drawing Course! That way I was able to erase the geographical limits that distanced me from so many lovers of this art around the world and thus meet thousands of artists passionate about the art of realistic drawing.

Since then, I have given realism workshops in Madrid, Valencia, Alcalá de Henares, Lisbon, Buenos Aires, Santa Cruz de La Sierra and in several states of Brazil.

Now do you understand that it's not an exaggeration when I say that drawing changed my life?

To top it off, we currently have the largest drawing teaching platform in this segment: the School of Realism.

Perguntas frequentes:

No, access is automatically renewed according to the chosen subscription plan, that is, the monthly plan is renewed every 30 days and the annual plan every 365 days.

If there is no prior cancellation request, the plan continues to be renewed and the student will continue to have access to all content

You can start classes with very simple material in the first month of classes.
That is, a pad of paper for drawings, pencils of at least 3 graduations (B, 2B and 5B) and eraser.

As you progress through the exercises, we advise you to invest in materials that offer a more professional quality, so that you can achieve more expressive results with less effort.

With each video lesson where a practical exercise is presented, the student draws and sends it to be evaluated by our teachers in our closed Facebook group.
As the student makes the suggested changes and improves his drawing, the teachers release the student to go on to the next drawing.

This has been the way that allows us to use one of the most powerful tools in teaching: feedback.

This feedback from teachers refines and accelerates student learning with punctual assessments carried out with images, explanatory texts and videos, all so that the explanation is clear and the student’s benefit is even better.

The Student Support Group is held through the Facebook Group.

It is the platform that best meets the needs of the community that we seek for the School. For this reason, we do not assess exercises via email, whatsapp, telegram or any other app.

If you do not have access, you can create an account and use it only for this purpose.

Classes are recorded.
Thinking about the best experience for students, we chose to offer a visual quality in our classes that gives the feeling of being closer, not only because of the sharpness of the details, but also seeking specific explanations.
In this way, recorded classes enable this more immersive experience.

Cancellation can be requested within the time that respects the chosen subscription plan. For example:
Monthly plan, the student can cancel within periods of 30 days, if there is no request for cancellation, the subscription is renewed for another month and access remains free to the student.

Annual Plan, the student can only request cancellation 20 days before expiring another period of 1 year. If the cancellation request is not made, the subscription is renewed for another 365 days and the value of the plan is debited from the credit card again.

No, we have several teenage students, but in the case of children under 12 years old, the course is not recommended.
This is due to the fact that the techniques taught have a more complex approach and this can discourage children, as childhood is a phase of discoveries where children need freedom and encouragement to draw. Techniques at this stage can hinder rather than teach.

The main difference is that it is not a course with a beginning, middle and end.
The School is an organic structure, that is, it is always in development, always looking for innovations, always updating itself, renewing itself.

When we thought about this format for the School, we were always aware that learning is like that, organic. Therefore, it could not have an end.
In this way, we constantly seek to bring news, challenges, techniques.
We talk about behavior, mindset, job market, etc.

The School of Realism has as one of its bases the technical development of Realism.

That is, a study that will develop your perception based on a reference with the purpose of a result close to the real one. In the process, you will learn that you are more than that.

But not. We do not teach other techniques such as the study of anatomy, perspective, among others.

Discount is on annual subscription renewal. That is, when renewing for another year, the student has a considerable discount so that he can continue with us.
In the case of students of our old courses or students who canceled their subscription and wish to return, the value is the current one on this page.

Absolutely!
All content is extremely didactic, it was designed to facilitate the understanding of people who have never had contact with this type of technique.

The support of the professors is very rich in welcoming and teaching students, regardless of their experience level.

But there are also videos with more advanced techniques, so we can enrich those who are already more experienced and, on the other hand, we are training those who are coming from previous modules.

Yes, with each completed module and with the approval of the professors, the student will receive a digital certificate that can be printed and framed. 😉

The school is not a course with a beginning, middle and end. It is an environment where we teach the technique of realistic drawing and its development depends on the pace of each student, and can be expanded according to their needs and interests. The mentality classes ended up becoming the strong point of the community, making the School a meeting point for artists.

Yes. By subscribing monthly or annually, you will have access to all the school’s content.
